A perfect combination of fitness and design. Two aesthetically immaculate studios in Clapton and Shoreditch and physically demanding classes. One of *Wallpaper’s best gyms in the world.
I did Boxing with Kenny – an accustomed fighter himself, he led a cardio intensive class with a touch of technique in the bright, fully equipped studio 1. It was a combination of bag and floor drills, light sparring and agility drills to fire up your inner Rocky.
I tried Taofique’s Cardio Killer at their newer Shoreditch space – a gem tucked away from the busy Liverpool Street station with a bright and insta-perfect space. The class was circuit-based that required minimal equipment: a mat, light and heavy dumbbells and you’re set. The format of the class might have been simple but the longer interval times meant that you could really feel the burn.
Both studios are fully equipped with spaces for barre, yoga, boxing and dance – they all look like something out of a design catalogue.
