The best and hardest pilates workout you’ll ever do. So hard but so good! It’s fast, there’s not much of a break between moves and it really tones your core and glutes. Their megaformer has more settings than your average reformer, but the principles are the same. It gets quite sweaty after the first 10 minutes, especially since the studio is set at a higher temperature than normal, leaving you reaching for those essential oil-infused chilled towels at the end. Head over to the amazing Linda, Matt and Shay‘s classes – they are brilliant and will have you feeling sore for days after the workout.
A small tip: bring your own grippy socks, if not they sell them at reception too.
The new Canary Wharf studio did not leave me disappointed – the studio itself was relatively hard to get to as a non-canary wharf worker or East Londoner, but it’s a lovely space once you get there. It has two rooms – one for Studio KO, their boxing studio led by the amazing Matt McElligott, and another for Lagree megaformer classes. The changing rooms are much brighter than their Moorgate counterpart. Now for the studio in West London to open…
