The newest studio in London is seriously polished – clean and spacious changing rooms and ample space for their intense classes. The gym is an athlete’s playground. Very minor point, but it was also refreshing to workout with the sunlight flooding into the gym. They offer a range of high intensity classes – Metabolic Signature, Meta-Row, Meta-Circuit, The Viking Method and Quick HIIT – their lunchtime quickie.
Metabolic Signature is a sweaty combination of cardio and strength Tabata and AMRAP rounds, with a heart pumping finisher. The work in Meta-Row, on the other hand, is split between rounds of rowing (4-5 min x3 rounds) and AMRAPs, ending with a group finisher.
Trainers Lawrence, Irma and Charlie are very welcoming and humble, and they seek to build a strong community of like-minded athletes here. If you’re looking for a high energy workout, led by experienced, determined trainers, look no further.
Sweat index: 9-10 (the studio is nice and airy but you will be drenched from the workout)
